You can dismiss some data problems in Family Tree.

Please attach all record hints, even if they appear to be duplicates. If you look at each hint carefully, you usually discover differences.

To help maintain an accurate genealogical record of the human family, use the sex recorded at birth.  Record any later sex or gender-related changes as custom life events in the Other Information section.

You can print fan charts and pedigree charts from Family Tree. FamilySearch converts the information into a PDF file, which you can save to your computer. 

The Fan Chart displays up to 7 generations, with information about where each ancestor was born and other details.

Use the View My Relationship feature to see how you are related to people in Family Tree.

In Family Tree, enter custom events and facts that are not available by default.

In Family Tree, you can see a list of other users who follow a person and send the users a FamilySearch message.

You can use most Family Tree features for the living and confidential people you have added. Notable exceptions are discussions and find by name.
