Chiefly ancestral families, relatives and descendants of the author's parents, Lee Elliott and Glenna Brake Wilmott. Lee Elliot Wilmot (1898-1966) was born at Jet, Alfalfa County, Oklahoma, the son of James Thomas Wilmott (1872-1947) and Mary Heneatte Sophia Julia Wespe Wilmott (1878-1962). He married Glenna Brake (1904-1968) in 1919 at Kiefer, Creek County, Oklahoma. They had eleven children, 1920-1938, born at Glenpool, Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Glenna Modesta Brake (1904-1968) was born at Warren, Indiana, the daughter of Edna Francis Brake (1887-1962) and John T. Fritz. Lee Elliot and Glenna Wilmott are buried in the Bixby Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Descendants live in Oklahoma, Washington, Missouri, and elsewhere.
Ancestors include: John Francis Brake (1849-1924) of Germany, Ohio, Indiana and Oklahoma -- Thomas T. Wilmoth (d. 1794) of Virginia -- Henry Franz Wespe (1821-1902) of Switzerland, Illinois and Kansas -- Edward Wyatt (1619-1670) of Kent County, England and Gloucester County, Virginia -- Johnn Puhrmann (1823-1911) of Thelkow, Mecklinburg, Germany and Homewood, Cook County, Illinos.
