Silas Grimsley (b.1789) moved from Culpepper County, Virginia to Boone County, Kentucky and married Jane Moore in 1812. Between 1815 and 1818, they moved to Ripley County, Indiana. Descendants and relatives lived in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Iowa and elsewhere. Some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived in Utah and elsewhere. Includes some temple ordinance data on their ancestry.
Includes Cole, Hankins, Reeves, Slater, Von Hagen, Walker and related families.
