Includes Massachusetts Volunteers which also includes Bridgades N.G.S., Ambulance Corps, 1st Battlion Cavalry and Company F, 1st Battery Artillery and Battery B, 1st and 2nd Corps Cadets, Naval Bridgade N.G.S., and Signal Corps.

The miscellaneous items may include Civil War lists of Massachusetts wounded or killed, or taken prisoner with death or parole dates, application for furloughs, enlistees entitled to Bounty, surgeons lists, lists of officers killed in service, deserters, prisioners, certificates of exemption, and other papers.
