King William Parish was formed in 1700 and was originally in Henrico County until 1728. From 1728-1749 the parish was in Goochland and Henrico counties, then in Cumberland County from 1749-1777 and finally in Powhatan County from 1777 to present. Manakin Church, near Huguenot Springs, is the parish church.
This book indexes The Huguenot, no. 1-29, which is a publication of the Huguenot Society of the Founders of Manakin in the Colony of Virginia. It also contains an index to the vestry book of King William Parish, Virginia.
