John Buckner of London born ca. 1630, immigrated to Gloucester County, Virginia, where he bought land in 1667. He had married Debora Ferrers in 1661 in England. He died about 1695.
Includes the Strother, Ashby, Lewis, Washington, Stith, Thurston, Dickinson, Thornton, Claiborne, and other connected families.
Some corrections and updates are found in the periodical, "The Buckner newsletter," which was published: West Chester, Ohio : Buckner Family Association, 1995- .
