This book provides details on how events were recorded in the books of the Hailton County Recorder during various periods of time. Each chapter covers the indexes to a given type of document or documents. Each chapter tells, by time periods, the names of the recorder's books into which the documents were copied and how and where they are indexed.
The documents that are discussed in this book include indexes to power of attorney, veterans' discharge, cemetery lot, miscellaneous books, will excerpts, welfare, deed, lease, registered land, mortgage, mechanic lien, release, organization papers of churches/clubs/businesses, partnership, unemployment compensation lien, lien from government agencies, financing statement, map, sundries, etc.
