You can add an image from an unindexed record image as a source in Family Tree.

Steps—Attach to Family Tree (website and mobile)

  1. Navigate to the image.
  2. In the top-right corner, click or tap Attach to Family Tree. On a small screen, tap the paperclip icon.
  3. Enter information in the Notes field.
  4. Click Next: Select Person
  5. Use the drop-down menu to select the name of a recently viewed person, or enter the Tree ID.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Enter your reason, and then click Attach

Steps—Source Box (website and mobile)

  1. Navigate to the image.
  2. In the top-right corner, click or tap Source Box. On a small screen, tap the options icon and tap Source Box.

You can use the URL of the image and create a source in Family Tree.

  1. Navigate to the image.
  2. In the address bar of your browser, copy the URL (web address).
  3. Go to your ancestor's profile in Family and click Sources.
  4. Click Add Source.
  5. Click Add New Source.
  6. In the Source Type, click Web Page URL and paste the URL into the Web Page field.
  7. Continue to enter information about the source.
  8. Click Save.
