As a ward temple and family history consultant, you help individuals and families come unto Christ as they participate in family history and temple work (General Handbook 25.2.4).

1. Start with the Savior
As you help others, share how covenants and ordinances bring us closer to the Savior, bind us to Him, and strengthen us with His power.
2. Use Ordinances Ready
Ordinances Ready is the easiest way to find individuals that need to have ordinances performed in the temple.
3. Build Your Family Tree
Building a family tree online can help members experience the joy of performing temple ordinances for their own deceased ancestors.
4. Add What You Know
Once you have a family tree you can continue to add names to your tree. You can also add family memories (photos, text, audio, and so on).
