IP Address Test

Verify that your library's IP provides affiliate access.

To confirm your affiliate access, open this test link from inside your library.

If the test link does not allow you to view images, visit the support page for next steps.

URL to Use

Use the correct FamilySearch link for affiliate access.

Use the main FamilySearch URL on all library computers and on your website: https://www.FamilySearch.org/

This URL ensures that patrons start from the correct entry point for affiliate access.

Locator Map

Confirm your library’s map listing.

The locator map helps patrons find your library and know they can access FamilySearch resources at your location. Use the map to view your facility and confirm that your listing is accurate.

Usage Report

Request your library’s FamilySearch usage data.

The usage report shows how your library’s affiliate access is being used. To request your data, email the affiliate library support team at affiliatelibraries@FamilySearch.org.

Limited Access

Understand why some images cannot be viewed.

Some digital images on FamilySearch have access restrictions.

  • Learn more about image restrictions by clicking here.
  • If you see the message “Access the site at a FamilySearch affiliate” when you are already in an affiliate library, visit the support page.
  • Affiliates and FamilySearch centers are separate programs that have different access permissions. Learn more about centers and affiliates here.
