Texas, Special Voter Registration, 1867-1869


This collection includes voter registration records for various counties in Texas. Forms most often include the following information: date of registration, county and precinct of residence, years resided in state, years resided in county, years resided in precinct, native of what state or county, how, when and where naturalized, signature, general remarks. All voters at this time were male. Not all forms are completely filled out. Microfilm of originals for this collection are housed at the Texas State Library in Austin, Texas. This is the best copy of the images that is available.
