William Lockridge, brother of James, was born in about 1705 in Ireland. He immigrated to America, settling with his brother in Augusta County, Virginia. He married Agnes Gwin in about 1740. They had six children. William died in 1795. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia, and elsewhere.
