"On the single roll of this microfilm publication, M2065, are reproduced card manifests of over 6,300 alien arrivals at Van Buren, ME, ca. 1906-December 24, 1952. The cards are arranged alphabetically and include permanent and temporary arrivals. These records are part of the Records of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, Record Group (RG) 85." -- p. 1.

May include name, age, sex, marital status, place of birth, occupation, citizenship, place of last permanent residence, prot and date of arrival, destination, purpose for entering the United States, name and address of the friend or relative the alien intnded to join, and other information.

Some records are light and may be hard to read. The records were destroyed after they were microfilmed.
