Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of William Allen. He was born ca. 1720 and died before 8 Nov. 1759 in Albermarle County, Virginia. He married Mary ca. 1750 probably in Virginia. She was born ca. 1720 and died before 25 Feb. 1783 probably in Virginia. They were the parents of three known children. Descendants live in Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and elsewhere.

Includes Allen, Caldwell, Morris, Napier, Woodson, Board, Burrier, Clark, Connell, Flanagan, Johnson, Payne, Rhodes, Richardson, Swartwout, Thompson, Timberlake, Williamson and related families.
