Notes

The Indian Presbytery met at Goodland in Indian Territory, Choctaw Nation on 15 April 1848. Reverend C. Kinsbury and Reverend J. C. Strong were called as a committee to organize a church at Bennington. Bennington is located 21 miles east of Durant in eastern Bryan County.

Volumes 1and 2 contain session minutes, membership rolls, admissions and lists of adults and children baptised. The third book is a copy of volumes 1-2 combined and an index.
