Notes

Microfilm of original records at the county courthouse, Berkley Springs, and the West Virginia University Library, Morgantown.

Liber indexes are arranged by liber and then by name as they appear in the volume. The General Indexes for 1820-1947 appear to be arranged primarily by first letter of the surnmane and then by first letter of the given name with items being mixed because of the overflow of some letters. Volume five is a Cottco index.

Volume 3 has one deed from 1866 and volume 6 has a few deeds from 1865.

Includes general indexes and individual indexes for volumes 3, 8-10 and 25.
