John Roseboom (1739-1805) was born at Albany, New York, the son of son of Hendrick Myndert Roseboom (1707-1803) and the great grandson of Henderick Roosenboom (d. 1703). He settled early at Schenectady as a merchant. He was a member of the Committee of Safety and a Lieutenant in the army of the Revolution. He married Susannah Veeder, daughter of Myndert Veeder, in 1763 at Schenectady. They had seven children, 1764-1783. He died at Canajoharie, New York. Most descendants listed lived in New York.

Jesse Johnson (1745-1832) was born at Middletown, Connecticut, the son Daniel Johnson, Jr. (b. 1710) and a descendants of John Johnson (d. 1659). He married Mary Stevenson (1747-1809), daughter of John Stevenson, in 1769. They had ten children, 1769-1792. The family lived at Middletown and Chatham, Connecticut, until 1804, when they migrated to Cherry Valley, New York. He died in Cherry Valley. Descendants listed lived in New York, Michigan, Illinois, and elsewhere.
