These records are arrange in chronological and numerical order. They include handwritten records and printed forms. In 1900, the county began using a standard form created by the health department. The date the standardized form was issued is at the top of form, which can create confusion because the same form was used to record marriages after 1900. To help navigate the records, the file folders which organized the documents were filmed; record numbers and years are listed at the top of file folders. For example, film 1302537 includes twelve folders with records numbered 2551-3060 which cover part of the year 1872 through part of the year 1906.
