Herman Hampton Smith, son of William Clark Smith and Emma Clark Hampton, was born 14 Aug 1909 near Nolensville, Williamson County, Tennessee. He married Julious Bonnie Holloway, daughter of Richard Thomas Holloway and Emma Thomas Gannon, on 14 Aug 1931 in Hilsboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee. She was born 14 Aug 1908. They had 5 children. Herman died 9 May 1962 and Bonnie died 12 Jan 1992. They are buried in Nashville, Tennessee. Their ancestors have lived in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina. Their descendants have lived in Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Florida, Oklahoma, and other areas in the United States.
