Julian Moses was born in Connecticut in 1810, the son of Jesse Moses and Esther Brown. He married Matilda Neff and Ruth Ridge. The children of Julian and Ruth were Julian, Barbara, Sarah and Esther. Ancestors of Julian include John Moses, Peter Brown, and Jonathan Gillet. .

Additional surnames include Terry, Kenney, Dike, Baker and Brook. .
