Kathleen Stoker, the daughter of Ervin Rowe Stoker (1902-1982) and Margaret Dempster Millar (1909-1970), was born in Washington D.C. in 1936 and moved to Utah with her family in 1943. In 1959, she married James Boone Overton in Layton, Utah. Their 1st child was born in Utah in 1960, but the last four were born in Arizona. Kathleen's surname line is traced to Johann Michael Stoker (1731-1819) and Anna Barbara Romer (1736-1768), both were born in Frederick, Maryland; Johann died in Somerset, Ohio. Other lines are traced to earlier generations and include Wampfler (1590 in Canton Bern, Switzerland), Cummins (1660 Woburn, Mass.), Tompkins (ca. 1440 Monington, England), Belknap (ca. 1490 Sawbridgeworth, England), Pender (1680 Nansemond, Virginia) and related lines.
