Comfort Amelia Fletcher was born in 1903 in El Paso, Texas to William Everett Fletcher (1872-1938) and Comfort Jane Terry (1872-1952). Amelia married William Bryan Lybarger, Sr. (1897-1946) in 1920 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She died in 1984 in Anchorage, Alaska. Traces her ancestors and descendants. The Fletcher line is traced back to George Fletcher of Virginia. He married Eleanor (surname unknown) probably in Montgomery County, Virginia. In 1781, he is recorded as being a member of the militia in Captain Patton's Company. The Terry line is traced back to James Terry who was born in Caroline County, Virginia. His wife was Margaret (surname unknown) and they had a son William (d. 1782? or 1788).
