Vol. 1 "covers only the first three generations of descendants of Lawrence Peirson (1607-1673/4) of Pownall Fee Village, Wilmslow Parish, Cheshire, England.".
Lawrence Pierson (1607-1673/4) of Daine Rowe village, Pownall Fee Township, Wilmslow Parish, Cheshire, England, son of Edward Peeresonne, married Anne Worth (d. ca. 1648) in 1643 in Prebury Parish. They had one daughter, born in 1647. He married 2) Elizabeth (Janney?) ca. 1650. They had six children, ca. 1650-1657. Lawrence Pierson joined the Society of Friends (Quakers) ca. 1647. He was buried in Mobberley Quaker Cemetery, Mobberley Parish. Two of his sons immigrated to America and settled in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Descendants listed lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Carolina, Ohio and elsewhere. Most descendants spelled their surname Pearson.
