Periodical for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Riddell (Riddle, Ruddell) families who came mainly from England, France, Holland, Ireland and Scotland. Some focus is on (but not limited to) descendants of John Thomas Riddle (1803-1887), a son of Isaac Riddle and Anna Grizzell, who moved from Tennessee to Kentucky, and converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They joined the Latter-day Saint pioneers' migration from Nauvoo, Illinois to Kanosh, Millard County, Utah. John Thomas married twice. Other progenitors include Vincent Robertson (Vinson Robeson) Reddell, Zachariah Riddle Jr., and others. Early ancestors settled in New Jersey in the 1600's, and in Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas in the 1700's. During the 1800's, some migrated to Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas, Vermont, and the Indian Territory in Oklahoma. Later descendants and relatives also lived in California, Kansas, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and elsewhere. Some had American Indian and African American bloodlines.
