James Lambert, born in 1810 in Augusta County, Virginia, moved with his family to Gallia County, Ohio, where he married Lavina Moore in 1827. They moved first to Miami County, and then settled in Bradford, Miami and Darke counties. Ancestors and descendants lived primarily in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Illinois.
Includes some records of the Moore, Moomaw, and other related families.
