Orthodox Church records (births, marriages, deaths, parish censuses) for the Ekaterinoslav Consistory (Diocese) in Ekaterinoslav, Ekaterinoslav, Ekaterinoslav, Russia. Includes many parishes from the former Slavi︠a︡nsk Consistory in Slavi︠a︡nsk, Izi︠u︡m, Kharʹkov, Russia. The Slavi︠a︡nsk Consistory became a part of the Ekaterinoslav consistory during the 1780s. Later, most of these parishes belong to the Belgorod Consistory in Belgorod, Belgorod, Kursk, Russia. With the creation of Ukraine after World War I, the parishes belonged to the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsʹk, Donetsʹk and Luhansʹk oblasts. Text in Russian.

Includes parishes from the former districts of Konstantinograd and Slavi︠a︡nsk. The Konstantinograd district belonged to Ekaterinoslav namestnichestvo (region ruled by a governor-general) until 1802, when it became a part of the newly created Poltava province. The boundaries of the district were changed and many parishes ended up in the districts of Valki and Zmiyev, Slobodo-Ukrayinskaya province (later Khar'kov province), Russia (Empire). Konstantinograd was later called Krasnograd and, with the former districts of Valki and Zmiyev, became a part of the the Kharkiv oblast, Ukraine.

The Slavi︠a︡nsk district was created in 1784 as a part of the Ekaterinoslav namestnichestvo. In 1797 it became a part of the Izi︠u︡m district in the Slobodo-Ukraĭinskai︠a︡ province (later Kharʹkov province). The area was later divided between the Kharkiv and Donetsʹk oblasts, Ukraine.

The term "Russia" in the subject heading refers to the locality designation in the historical Russian Empire or Soviet Union.
