Reverend Absolom "Abe" Abbott, son of Absolom Abraham Abbott, was born 3 March 1804 in Burke County, North Carolina, and married Annis Stillwell who was born in 1807. Annis died in 1867 and Abe in 1886, both in Blount County, Tennessee. They were the parents of six children: John Andrew, Counselor, Naomi Lucinda, Benjamin Franklin, Noah Richard Jackson and Julia. Descendants and relatives lived chiefly in Tennessee with some in South Carolina, California, Kansas, Missouri and elsewhere.
