Microfilm of original records at the Virginia State Library in Richmond, Virginia.

Henrico County kept one list of taxpayers per year from 1782-1785, two list from 1786-1850. In 1808 there was no tax collected, the General Assembly did not pass tax collecting legislation.

Tax lists give name of person taxed or tithed, type and amount of taxable property, amount of tax, and the county statistics.
