Microfilm of original records at the Virginia State Library in Richmond, Virginia.
Until 1787 there was only one list of taxpayers per year. In 1788 it changed to two per year. There was no tax collected for 1808, the General Assembly did not pass tax collecting legislation for that year.
Gives the name of person being taxed, type of property taxed, and the amount taxed.
