The American State Papers are official public documents printed privately before the Congressional Printing Office was established. These land grants were gathered from the United States Land Office, Post Vincennes, Indiana District.
Includes surname index.
Contains a brief history of the American state papers and the land grants recorded in them. Also gives the names of the grantees with a description of the land granted.
