Notes

Chiefly ancestors, and some of their descendants, of Donella Cox Taylor (1884-1963). She was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina, the daughter of Eli Evander Cox (1847-1923) and Mary Godfrey Wheeler Cox (1852-1926). The family moved to Florence County, South Carolina in 1898. She married Graham Taylor (1869-1922), son of John and Sartira Jane Bailey Taylor in 1905 in Florence County. They had three children, 1906-1918, born at Mars Bluff, South Carolina. Graham and Donella Cox Taylor are bured at Florence, South Carolina. Most descendants and relatives listed lived in South Carolina.

Ancestors include: Emanuel Coxe (b. 1723) of Marlborough County, South Carolina -- William Wheeler (1740-1820) of Marion County, South Carolina.
