Includes 4 separate full-name indexes. Each index indexes first by groom then by bride. Another record, "Marriage Licenses & other Loose Papers, 1858-1951 / Brown County (Illinois). County Clerk" is indexed by these indexes. Vols. 1-2 of the indexes do not include license numbers with the indexed names, however. But the marriage registers they index do include license numbers. So by using index vols. 1-2 together with their respective registers, one may locate relevant marriage licenses in the above record. Index vols. 3-4 of the indexes do include marriage license numbers. So the related registers are not needed to index the above marriage license record.
