William Allen Berry was born in 1874 in Tennessee to James Allen and Alliah Jane (Clemons) Berry. He married Ollie Marie Butler in 1897 in Texas. She was born in 1878 in Missouri to James and Anna (Atkins) Butler. William and Ollie later moved to Oklahoma and then to Idaho. William died in 1945 and his wife died in 1964. Descendants lived in Idaho, Washington, Colorado, and elsewhere.
William Allen Berry's earliest known ancestor was James Berry. James moved with his wife Elizabeth and family from Virginia to Maryland before 1658. He died ca. 1657 and his wife died around the same time.
Includes the related families of King, Henry, McGhee, Darnell, Matero, Anderson, Eggebraaten, Evans, Seeley, and others.
