There are gaps in the volume numbers, but no records are missing.
Miscellaneous records include some mortgage records, a few letters testamentary from the probate court concerning land sales, quit claim deeds, and bills of sale. The records also include documents regarding acquisition of public lands, such as certificates of purchase and patents issued by the General Land Office in Lawton. Many of the records pertain to mineral rights, and oil and gas leases or contracts, including some from allotted Indian lands. Volume 4 includes a copy of the proclamation creating Cotton County from part of Comanche County. Volume 32 has a copy of the charter creating the city of Walters.
