Includes the descendants of the following Schooler families: William Schooler was born ca. 1640 in London and died ca. 1728 in Caroline, Virginia; John Schooler (ca. 1771-1853) was born near Carlisle, Pennsylvania and died in Knox County, Ohio; Andrew Schooler was born in Kentucky and married (2) Elizabeth Jane Welch who was born in 1830; John Schooler was born ca. 1855 in Kentucky and died in Tennessee; and John Schooler, son of Benjamine and Mary Schooler, was born in 1789 in Paxton, Scotland and married (2) Isabella Knox. Many of their descendants lived in Iowa.

Descendants of William Schooler include the Lampton, Ross, Lemon, Hudson, Crosswhite, Hukel, Jones, Keith, Turner, Wright and other related families.
