James Trotter (1748-1821) was born in Augusta County, Virginia and married Mary Scott. He was the father of eight children. Descendants continued to live in Virginia for a couple of generations while some descendants moved to Indiana, Kansas and other parts of the United States.
Includes information on the families of Trotter, Barnes, Carle, Nyeswander and Robinson.
