Samuel Henry Harris, Jr. was born in 1921 at St. Petersburg, Florida, the son of Samuel Henry Harris (1891-1961) and Ellen Pauline Montaney Harris (1897-1991). He married Valerie Bohnert (1921-1993), daughter of Herbert Frederick and Margaret Sharp Bohnert, in 1942 at Jacksonville, Florida. They had three daughters, 1947-1956, born in Washington, D.C. His wife died at Potomac, Maryland, and is buried at Anona, Florida. Infomation for most ancestors includes biographical information and a list of children with birth and death dates and place of birth. Ancestors include Charlemagne and other nobility lines.

John Harris (1725-1791) of Maryland and Abbyville, North Carolina -- William Cone (ca. 1745-1824?), a Revolutionary War soldier, of North Carolina and Georgia -- Johannes or Jean Mousnier de la Montagne (ca. 1595-1670?) of Saintes, France; the Netherlands; Guiana; and New Amsterdam [New York] -- Samuel Jones (d. 1704) of Saybrook, Connecticut -- James Griffin (1731-1781) and Virginia and Newberry County, South Carolina -- William Hart (1756-1821) of New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida -- Jame Hodge (b. before 1760) of Lansingburg, New York -- Henry Tolles (fl. 1669-1676) of Wethersfield and Saybrook, Connecituct.
