Includes four descendancy charts attached in the back of the book for the following people: William R. Cheeks (ca. 1800-1871), Cyrus F. Cheeks (1852-1935), George Peter Beech/Bitsch (1849-1916), and Richard (Graybeard) Wells (1742-1831).

William A. Cheeks was born ca. 1800. His wife was Elizabeth Hunter (ca. 1800-1866). They lived in Brooke County, Virginia (later became West Virginia). In the early 1850's the family moved to Pennsylvania where William died in 1871. Covers six generations of some of William's descendants down to the author, Donald W. Cheeks of West Virginia.
