John Fraser was born in 1721 in Ayrshire, Scotland. He married Jean "Jane" Bell on 8 Aug 1754 in Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia. They had 9 children. John died in 1773 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Jane died 14 Apr 1814 in Napier Township, Harrison, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Their descendants have lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Indiana, and other areas throughout the United States.

Includes information on the Fraser, Frazier, Fraseur, Adams, Hyle, Kesler, Kinsey, Thacker, Wortman, and other allied families.
