Their son, Henry West (b. 1826), married (2) Zilpha Caroline Plemmons (b. 1841), daughter of William and Mary A. Plemmons. They were parents of seven children born from 1859 to 1880. This family moved from Buncombe Co., N.C. to Gilmer Co., Ga. prior to 1850.
