Henry S. Begley (1815-1899) was born in Clay Co., Ky. There he also married Elizabeth Davidson (b. 1820) in 1838. He was the son of John Begley of North Carolina and Rebecca Stewart. She was the daughter of Tyree Davidson born in Washington Co. (now Scott Co.), Virginia and Sarah Morris. They had nine children. Descendants live in Kentucky and elsewhere.
