John Richardson (1737-1804), son of Joseph and Sarah Morris Richardson, was born in Hanover County, Virginia. He married Martha DePriest (1743-1829), daughter of Robin DePriest who immigrated to Virginia from France in 1732 and settled in Hanover County, Virginia. Descendants lived in Virginia, Louisiana, West Virginia, Texas, South Carolina, and elsewhere.
Includes Couch, Flewellen, Phifer, Gillespie, DePriest and related families.
