Original volumes prepared, in accordance with Acts of Congress, under the direction of Joseph K. Barnes.
In the reprint edition, vol. 1 was prepared originally by J.J. Woodward. Volume 2 was prepared by J.J. Woodward and George A. Otis. Volume 3-8 prepared by J.J. Woodward. Volume 9-10 prepared by George A. Otis. Volume 11-12 prepared by George A. Otis and D.L. Huntington.
