Microfilm of original ms. records (4 p.) and typescript, newspaper clipping and photograph collection (11 leaves) in possession of Mrs. Jesse Daniel Henry, Sandersville, Georgia.
Charles M. Cason (1863-1948), the son of David Montgomery Cason (1840-1904) and Belle M. Fowler Cason (1843-1910), and Eliza J. Martin (1865-1941), the daughter of William Martin (1834-1897) and Julia A. Waldon Martin (1840-1917), were married in 1892. They had eleven children, 1893-1912. Includes Cason, Plowden, Henry, and other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Also includes obituaries for Raleigh C. Cason and William Martin. Raleigh C. Cason (1912-1959) was born at Sandersville, Georgia, the son of Charlie M. and Eliza Martin Cason. He married Virginia Christie Long in 1945. They had three children. He was a dentist at Atlanta, Georgia. William Martin (1834-1897) was born in Marion County, Georgia. He married Julia Ann Walden of Grange, Jefferson County, Georigia, in 1863. They had ten children. He died at Sandersville, Georgia.
Also contains a copy of a letter written in 1961 with information about the Cason, Hannah, and related families from family Bibles and other sources. William Cason (1749-1847), was born in Pitt County, North Carolina. He served in the Revolutionary War from Fairfield District, South Carolina. Information chiefly follows line of descent to Charles Monroe Cason (1863-1948), who was born in Warren County, Georigia, and died at Sandersville, Georgia.
