Thomas Henry Stevens/Stephens (1797-1855) married Elizabeth Yancey (1808-1832) in 1829 in Halifax County, Virginia. In 1834, Thomas married Nancy Wood Posey (1812-1862); they had eight children. Some of their many descendants still live in Halifax County, while others have lived in Pennsylvania and Utah.
