Antoine Desasurre Perronette de Crocketange was born in 1643 at Montauban, France, the son of Gabriel Giustave de Crocketagne. He married Louise de Saix in 1669. They had seven children, 1672-1685. Huguenots, the family fled France shortly after the birth of their oldest son and settled in Ireland. Their grandson, Robert Watkins Crockett, Jr. (ca. 1707-1746), and his wife, Margaret, were married in Ireland. They had eight children, ca. 1733-1747. The family immigrated to America in 1740 and settled in Augusta County, Virginia. He died before the birth of his youngest son. Record chiefly follows line of descent to Daniel Jenning "D.J." Crockett (1870-1951). He was born at Spickard, Grundy County, Missouri, the son of William Warick Crockett (1841-1918). His family migrated to Kansas in 1888, then on to Oklahoma in 1889. He married Jemina Jane Swearingen (1876-1954) in 1893 at Guthrie, Oklahoma. They had four children, 1894-1900, born at Perry, Oklahoma. He died at Perry. Descendants listed lived in Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Colorado and elsewhere.
