Joseph Beach was born before 1765 in Virginia. He lived in Caroline and Orange Counties of Virginia. He died after 1810 in Kentucky. He had five children, Bailey (ca. 1771-1844), who married Nancy Vaughn, a daughter of James Vaughn in 1793; Henry (ca. 1780-1850), who married 1803 Delila True, daughter of Martin True; Margaret, who married 1810 William Adams; and Mary, who married 1811 Henry Lailor. Descendants live in Kentucky and elsewhere.
