James Crawford (1770-1833) was born in Augusta County, Virginia. In about 1805 James and his wife, Martha, moved to Kentucky. In 1829 he and his family moved to Warren County, Indiana. They were the parents of ten children. Descendants live in Indiana, Kansas and other parts of the United States.

Includes information on the families of Crawford, Lincoln and Pugh.
