Volume 1, published in 1990 under the title "Isaac Riddle and his family" was re-issued in 2003 with the the title "Descendants of John Riddle (1803-1887)" volume one.
John Riddle was born 23 December 1803 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. His parents were Isaac Riddle and Anna Grizzle. He married Elizabeth Stewart 22 December 1822 in Boone County, Kentucky. They had eleven children. He married Abigail Campbell in about 1854. They had two children. He married Eliza Bramwich 1 August 1866 in Salt Lake City,. They had one daughter. John died 12 April 1887 in Kanosh, Millard, Utah. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California.
Contents: v. 1. The twenty children and fifty-five grandchildren of Isaac Riddle, oldest son of John and Elizabeth Riddle -- v. 2. The descendants of three of Isaac Riddle's siblings, namely, Edith Eveline Riddle Grover, John Thomas Riddle and Lucinda Wilson Riddle Garrard Earnest. All three of these siblings eventually settled in Hamilton, Montana -- v. 3. Continues with the descendants of Margaret Ellen Riddle, James Henry Riddle and Elam Dempsey Riddle.
