Microfilm of originals in the Bastrop County Courthouse in Bastrop, Texas and at the Archives Division of the Texas State Library in Austin, Texas.

NOTE: Many of the 1918 census are missing, including the following letters A, E, F, I, Q, R, U, W, X, Y, Z.

NOTE: The census records are filed alphabetically by the first letter of the last name, each letter group is also filed white students together and then colored students. Also some records of white or colored may be filed with the other, or hispanics may be in white or colored groups. Check all groups for name.

NOTE: The "T's" for blacks is out of sequence and follows the "V's" for blacks on film number 1561821 item 1.

NOTE: Film 1561930 item 1 part of the "T" section is after the "Z's".

NOTE: The 1926 census forms are distinguished by using two different colors (i.e. white and yellow). The forms are used by all groups.
